Aphrodite
Greek goddess of love, beauty, and union.
Aphrodite is the Greek goddess of love, beauty, desire, and union — born, in myth, from the sea-foam and crowned with irresistible grace. Honoured throughout the ancient world (and known to the Romans as Venus), she presides over romance, attraction, fertility, and the pleasures of the senses, as well as the deeper harmony that draws all things together.
Her qualities. Beauty, love in all its forms, sensual delight, magnetism, and reconciliation.
In energy practice. Practitioners may invoke Aphrodite for self-love and worthiness, for opening the heart to love, for tenderness in relationships, and for an appreciation of beauty and pleasure as sacred.
Honouring Aphrodite is a faith- and intention-based spiritual practice for love and self-acceptance — offered for inspiration and reflection.
