Brett Bevell is a contemporary American Reiki master and author who has dedicated himself to new Reiki techniques since receiving his Reiki master initiation in 1995. He teaches Reiki training and certification at the Omega Institute for Holistic Studies in Rhinebeck, New York, and is the founder of the Magical Awakening energy-healing modality.
Known for. His books extend the practice beyond the traditional system. The Reiki Magic Guide to Self-Attunement offers at-home rituals for self-attunement and introduces twenty-one symbols to empower the flow of Reiki, while Reiki for Spiritual Healing presents further symbols and techniques for forgiveness and connection to the Divine.
He is among the modern authors credited with introducing newly received Reiki symbols. His writing has also appeared on NPR's All Things Considered.
