Sophia (Greek for "wisdom") is the personification of divine wisdom — the sacred feminine principle of knowing that appears across Greek philosophy, Jewish and Christian scripture (as Holy Wisdom), and the Gnostic and mystical traditions. She is wisdom not as mere knowledge, but as a living, luminous, divine presence.
