In Reiki. Jeff Johnson is a Reiki Master (signing his page “Jeff Johnson RM”) credited with channeling Auminaht, a non-traditional symbol outside the classical Usui lineage. By his own account, he received the symbol and about a year later connected with what he describes as its source — “a vast, ancient, wise and loving” energy. The symbol is said to align the mental capacity with the heart center, and is offered as a “speaker's” symbol for those who carry ideas into the world.
The attribution is documented by Richard (“Rick”) Rivard, founder of Threshold Reiki, who hosts Johnson's account of Auminaht and calls him “my friend.”
Beyond this, little verifiable biographical information is publicly recorded — no life dates, location, lineage, or teaching school is documented.
