Kathleen Milner
American artist, author, and healer who founded the Tera-Mai™ Reiki and Seichem system and is credited with bringing forward several non-traditional healing symbols.
Kathleen Ann Milner is an American artist, author, and natural healer. By her own account she began training in Reiki in 1983 and received Reiki Mastership in 1988, before developing her own system in the early 1990s.
Founder. Milner is the founder of Tera-Mai™ Reiki and Seichem, a trademarked healing system that joins Reiki with the elemental Seichem rays of fire, water, and air. She describes its attunements and symbols as received through meditation and inner guidance rather than through a traditional teaching lineage.
Known for. Her book Reiki and Other Rays of Touch Healing (1994) helped popularize non-traditional Reiki symbol work in the West, including symbols such as Zonar, Halu, and Harth.
