Mother Mary
An embodiment of divine compassion, comfort, and grace.
Mother Mary — Mary, the mother of Jesus — is revered far beyond Christianity as an embodiment of divine compassion, comfort, and grace. In devotion and in energy spirituality she is honoured as a tender, maternal presence: a "Queen of the Angels" and a face of the Divine Mother who offers solace, mercy, and unconditional love.
Her qualities. Compassion, comfort in suffering, gentle grace, purity, and a mother's protective, unconditional love.
In practice. Practitioners turn to Mother Mary for emotional healing and solace, for comfort in grief or fear, for the nurturing of children and mothers, and for the felt sense of being lovingly held. She is often associated with a soft, healing blue light.
Honouring Mother Mary is a faith- and intention-based spiritual practice for comfort and compassion — offered for reflection and reverence.
