Shakti
शक्ति
The dynamic divine feminine creative power.
Shakti (शक्ति) is the dynamic divine feminine — the primordial creative power and energy that animates the entire universe. The Sanskrit word means "power" or "energy" itself. Where the divine masculine (Shiva) is pure, still consciousness, Shakti is the active force that moves, creates, and gives form; the two are inseparable — consciousness and energy as one.
Her expressions. Shakti manifests as all the great goddesses — Durga, Kali, Lakshmi, Sarasvati, Parvati — each a face of the one creative power. Within the body, she is also the Kundalini, the coiled energy that rises in spiritual awakening.
In practice. Practitioners honour Shakti as the living energy of creation and transformation — invoking her for vitality, empowerment, creativity, and the awakening of inner spiritual energy.
Honouring Shakti is a faith- and intention-based spiritual practice drawn from a living tradition — offered for reflection and reverence.
