Sulis
Celtic goddess of healing springs.
Sulis is a Celtic goddess of healing springs, most famously honoured at the sacred hot springs of Bath in Britain (Roman Aquae Sulis), where her waters were revered for their restorative power. She presides over healing, sacred waters, and the granting of wishes and prayers.
Her qualities. Healing and renewal through water, the nurturing warmth of the springs, and the power to hear petitions — both blessings and, in older custom, appeals for justice.
In practice. Practitioners may honour Sulis for healing — especially emotional and physical renewal — for working with the cleansing, restorative energy of sacred water, and for releasing burdens to her flowing springs.
Honouring Sulis is a faith- and intention-based spiritual practice drawn from a living tradition — offered for reflection and reverence.
