You Are the Key

There are three primary ways to activate Reiki energy — particularly through the sacred, symbolic energy tokens known as Reiki Symbols:

• Traditional Reiki Attunements — in-person ceremonies where a Reiki Master directly transfers the ability to channel Reiki energy to the student.
• Distant Reiki Attunements — a method allowing students to receive attunements regardless of physical distance, using intention and specific symbols. In truth — when you think about it — all Reiki attunements are "distant" attunements, aren't they?
• Reiki Self-Attunements — a practice that empowers you to connect with Reiki through personal meditation and spiritual discipline, recognizing that the Universal Life Force Energy is ever-present, always accessible to those who approach it with sincerity, openness, and pure intent.

Each method is equally powerful when performed with integrity. It truly doesn't matter which one you choose — what matters is that you listen to your inner guidance and honor your own intuition.

You've come a long way to find yourself reading these words. And now, it's your time. The waiting is over. Stop hoping someone will arrive with a "magical key" to open that door for you. You are the key.

If at this point you find any kind of resistance, or a negative reaction to the message that "you can" — this is, in truth, very good. Those inner thoughts are what you've grown used to; you mistakenly identified with them, and in doing so lost the ability to observe them. The moment you set the intention, your subconscious will bring everything that's been stopping you to the surface — and you can finally disarm it all.

The good news is, you don't even have to believe — just as you're not required to believe in gravity for it to work. But you must be able to imagine that what you want to achieve is possible. One can only expand their consciousness to the level of their own beliefs. Once you start working with yourself in the right way, you'll soon be amazed at the new reality that reveals itself before you.

For now, simply set the intention. Breathe deeply and say to yourself — silently or aloud:

I now allow my consciousness to rise to the highest level possible, and align all my actions from this elevated state. My Intention is: I AM ONE with the Divine Energy of Reiki. I AM completely and fully connected to the Sacred Reiki Symbols, and the Symbols are perfectly connected to me. I AM ONE with the Divine Energy of Reiki, and Reiki flows through me. For the Highest Good of All, and for All That Is.
